Limitations

The main limitation of the plain HTTP proxy deployments is that in this mode traffic between the proxy and the browsers is generally sent in clear text and is not protected. This is acceptable for a local proxy deployment within your managed LAN but is completely not acceptable in cloud deployments. For cloud deployments we recommend the secure proxy deployment mode (see next article).

Note if you also need to perform HTTPS inspection and filtering, additional configuration steps are required.
