Deploying Proxy in Microsoft Azure

The following tutorials illustrate several scenarios for deployment of Web Filtering Proxy in Microsoft Azure.

Tutorial Name Description
Plain Proxy This tutorial illustrates how to quickly deploy the plain conventional proxy running in Microsoft Azure and protect access to it using incoming firewall rules and basic user authentication.
Secure Proxy This tutorial illustrates how to quickly deploy the secure proxy running in Microsoft Azure and protect access to it using incoming firewall rules and basic user authentication. This is the recommened way of deploying public cloud proxy.
Proxy with Client Certificate Authentication This tutorial illustrates how to deploy the secure proxy running in Microsoft Azure and implement proxy authentication using client certificates.
Private Proxy This tutorial illustrates how to lift and shift the proxy server from your on-premises into public cloud. Proxy remains private though and is only accessible to clients in your corporate lan.
Proxy Clustering This tutorial illustrates how to impelement clustered proxy solution using Web Filtering Proxy and is targeted at enterprise deployments with a lot of browsing activities.
